Weddings
Why choose me
Because your wedding deserves more than just "pretty photos." It deserves to feel like a memory you can step back into.
As a wedding photographer, I help couples capture their day in a way that's rich, cinematic, and full of real emotion — the deep tones, the atmosphere, the in-between moments you didn't even realize were happening. That's where the magic lives.
Nothing stiff or overly posed. I'll guide you when you need it, step back when you don't, and let your wedding day unfold naturally so your photos feel like you.
Think of me as a calm presence behind the camera — capturing candid, documentary-style wedding photography across Vancouver and the Lower Mainland, and turning it into something you can relive again and again.
Photos that don't just look beautiful. They feel like your story.

Testimonials
Highly recommend! Megan was extremely professional throughout our whole wedding planning process and made sure to check in with both myself my husband with what we wanted. She will go through editing styles and poses with you so that you are super comfortable the day of your wedding. She made the experience extremely fun (which says a lot cause I normally hate having my photos taken). The sneak peeks shortly after the wedding were so nice to have, as we could share some memories with friends and family that couldn’t be there. Megan has a heart of gold and has been so patient — she will go above and beyond to make sure you are happy with all the edits! Please book her!
- Anny & Mike
We had the pleasure of communicating with Megan through email initially and while we only asked her for one hour of her time, we ended up adding on a few hours here, and a few hours there, and before we knew it, we asked if she could just stay with us the whole day.
Megan was nonchalant, calm, and collected, and communicating with her was so comfortable especially because our photography plans evolved from a quick session to an all day affair.
On the day of our wedding, Megan captured beautiful shots of my husband and I, and our friends and families. She was so sweet and kind in her guidance, and all the shots we got back from her were absolutely stunning.
Megan really does have an eye for photography, and we are very glad to have been able to have her shoot our wedding photos. We're sad that the day came and went so quick, but the photos Megan captured for us continue to let us reminisce on our wedding day and how perfect it was for us.
- Kitty & Allan
Our session with Megan was incredible, everything went seamlessly. She made us feel instantly comfortable and even offered suggestions/poses to get the most out of the shoot. She was also open to input on location and stylization/editing of the photos but we left that to her since we loved the moody aesthetic of her other work. All in all, we are thrilled with the results; the photos absolutely blew us away. Thanks Meg for making us feel at ease behind the camera and capturing these beautiful memories that will last a lifetime. Don’t hesitate, book a session with Megan now!

Frequently Asked Questions
-
Wedding dates, especially summer weekends, tend to book up fast in Vancouver. I recommend reaching out 8–12 months ahead of your date, though I always encourage couples to ask even if you're closer to your wedding, availability sometimes opens up!
-
Yes. A 50% non-refundable retainer secures your date, with the remaining balance due 2 weeks before your wedding.
-
Absolutely. All packages include travel within the Lower Mainland. For weddings in Whistler, the Sunshine Coast, Vancouver Island, or further afield, just reach out for a custom travel quote.
-
Weddings sometimes don’t run exactly on schedule — and that's okay! If your day goes past the agreed coverage time, additional time is available at $325/hour, billed in 30-minute increments. I'll flag it in real time if we're approaching your booked hours, so there are never any surprises. Any overtime is invoiced within a few days of your wedding, with payment due within 7 days.
-
Life happens, and I get it! If your date changes, I'll do everything I can to move with you based on availability — just let me know as early as possible. (Deposits are non-refundable but can typically be transferred to a new date within 12 months.)
-
It depends on your package and the length of your day, but most couples receive 300–700+ fully edited images — enough to tell the full story of your day without wading through duplicates or throwaways.
-
You'll receive a small collection of sneak peeks within the first 48 hours so you're not waiting to relive the day. Full galleries are typically delivered within 4–6 weeks, with priority turnaround available on the Premium package.
-
Yes — a second photographer is included in the Premium package and available as an add-on for Classic or Signature packages. Having two angles is especially valuable for larger weddings, multiple getting-ready locations, or big guest lists.
-
Of course — I welcome a short list of must-have shots (family groupings, that one heirloom brooch, your grandmother's reaction). That said, I keep formal posed time intentionally minimal so I can spend most of the day capturing the real, candid, in-between moments — that's where the best photos usually come from.
-
This is Vancouver, so we plan for it! Rain doesn't cancel anything on most occasions. Some of the most beautiful, moody wedding photos happen in the rain. I'll always have a backup plan for your portraits, whether that's a covered outdoor spot or working the weather into the shots creatively.
-
Rich, cinematic, and true to real emotion. I lean documentary, capturing the day as it unfolds rather than staging it, with a smaller set of guided portraits mixed in. Think less "stiff and posed," more "a memory you can step back into."
-
Yes, we'll hop on a call (or meet in person) before booking to make sure we're a good fit, and again closer to your date to walk through timeline and details. If your package includes an engagement session, that's also a great trial run for us to get comfortable in front of the camera together.
-
I don't provide raw files. Every image you receive is thoughtfully edited by me to match my signature style, which is part of what you're investing in. You'll receive high-resolution, fully edited images ready to print, share, and treasure.
-
Absolutely — please do! I just ask that you credit @megzcreates when you share. Every package includes a print release, so you're free to print and share your images as you'd like.
